The more you put yourself out there and get uncomfortable, the less tensed you become. Practice taking baby steps, it does get easier!

I appreciate the vulnerability with your story. The journey for our authenticity is tough and scary. Love saved me from the depths of my darkness. I think those who love the most hurt the most because those who love know the power and hurt they can cause. But that power goes in both directions. Would you say we realize loving ourselves is the first step to loving life?
@healingingrace

That’s so beautiful, thanks for sharing. I do think that by loving ourselves, we heal and we help the ones we love heal because it’s like a ripple effect. When we begin to love ourselves, life is more enjoyable, fun, interesting and light. To love the life we’re living, we need to look within and heal aspects of us that we think is unacceptable. Love is the answer 😊

Namaste In my opinion there is a large misconception about the proper physique for women, which is slightly flabby. In places such as India where food is scarce it is culturally auspicious to be flabby or even fat. It is only in disconnected cultures such as England where having pale skin, untouched by the sun was a sign of being rich, from never having to labor outside! It disgusts me for women to be suggested with a submissive appearance, instead of recognizing the beauty of a strong respected womanly figure. Having big thighs as well as big feet is auspicious/gift from nature, regardless of the suggested necessity of being thin by the disgusting current culture.

Thanks for sharing 🫶🏻 beauty is created from within and althought i was raised in a culture that valued and glorified outside looks and materialistic things, it was hard for me to let go and understand myself. I came to realize that fitting in is not for me because I am meant to shine ✨

I think as cliché as it might sound, our character is developed through the experiences that aren’t necessarily pleasant. It’s as if we are being prepared to handle the “sweetness of the candy” as per your analogy.

❤if you want a stress free life appreciate every little things you have and never compare yourself to others, every human being is suffering but in different situations, remember you don't need to be rich in this world, luxury lifestyle can destroy human life, yes we need money to live but we don't live for money. As long as you have food for that day, you have security and you have a good health you are the bless people living in this earth. I highly recommend this book, title : don't be sad author Dr aid alqarni

Hey! thanks for sharing, I do believe that to be true. Comparison is truly THE thief of joy and it does no good to anyone. I think that all of us are experiencing life in their own way and through their own knowing. Through the pain and suffering, we can find light and peace.🩷

I am not sure how you end up in my news feed, you really remind me of my first love (couldn't get over her yet) been over 6 years now.. college lifes do suck, especially living under the conditions where your family has to come first and young siblings whom you have to look after ... To be honest, 4 years degree college is not needed if you want to be in middle class, I have seen a lot of people at work who has no higher education but they just talk their way out to get to a position where they earned doubled the starting salary.. Sorry this is really out of context LOL!!
