i still love all the layers to this with probably the biggest thing for me as an atheist mind you who isnt a 'hater' of deities but just never saw enough to believe, cadeuces is one of the few characters in any story that has made me on some level just have some faith mostly only in a general sense still but legit, that still has helped me have things like faith in a better tomorrow and helped get me through tough times where i was on the border of deciding hoping tormorrow might just be a bit less shit wasnt worth another day of hoping for....................

Rules as Written with DnD mechanics, yes he could. But, because of the in-universe Exandria lore and mythology, it’s dicey, and probably only possible if the Matron of Ravens allowed it. But, even if he could be, I don’t think Vax would want to be resurrected. He does love Keyleth, his sister, and everyone from Vox Machina, and he misses them terribly, but he did also swear an oath to the Matron, and it doesn’t seem like he wants to sacrifice his honor to break that oath. Because it seems like Vax has a choice whenever he appears in this way, which means he probably could do so beyond as a last stand, but according to Matt “he’s breaking the rules every time he does that”. He only appears like this to protect Keyleth whenever she is in immediately life-threatening danger. It seems like he doesn’t want to break the rules of his oath, but he cannot stop himself from intervening when it comes to Keyleth. XD
