Hi, love your stuff. Just a question as to why you take the time to glue tac accessories to the upper structure, and then take then off? I get the lower hull reason 100%. Seems like wasted work if they are going to be painted alone? If it was just for the fully assembled look though I get it. Maybe I missed that part. Your weathering paint and wash detail helped me a lot to up my game.

I bought this full interior Takom kit a few years ago. I was so excited when I got this kit. It started off well then went down hill after that. There were numerous fit issues and like this video, the upper hull was warped and eventually gave up on this kit.

Thank you for this great build series. I am currently building this model and your videos not only helped me max my build, it taught me usable things that I look for in every how to. Especially the use of glue tac and weathering style in this case.

Ottimo lavoro.

Brilliant kit. You convinced me of buying it immediately. However while viewing the build, change the music. Why not Edvard krieg or whatever. But not the annoying,... Like to see the painting and the weathering. Also , like you, I'm surprised by the quality of the figures. Knowing Tamiya, they are excellent in everything that runs, but the figures, I used to throw them away. But, hornet, warrior ,alpine prices are now ridiculous, you pay the double or even more instead of the kit. Thanks for showing this. Bravo! For Tamiya on the figures.

One thing that continues to bemuse me is the sometimes reflexive use of putty mixed with liquid cement to form armor “texture.” I get it if the kit is devoid of injection molded detail in this regard. Nor do the turrets and casemate need more material on them to stand out. I don’t hear the explanation here for why it seems the sides of the upper hull and turret were slathered with texture. To my mind, on a high end kit, these added elements are to be avoided absent a patent need for such. Every artist is free to use license to make their own designs and elements, but I’d like to know why they are making those choices so we can have a helpful dialogue. I think the many novice modelers who see the armor texturing will believe they are “missing out” and potentially ruin a build (I know, it happened to me), for such aggressive elements it should be clearly stated as to why IMHO

1. I’ll never use the dozen bottles of Stymlrez primer I bought again; it’s gum-like. Almost like liquid mask. 2. Mr. Brucca: when can we see you do some “heavies “ like the Konigstiger or Jagdtiger?

I must have gotten the wrong kit. The Instructions were not complete , oh the numbered steps were all there but little detail in how some parts were to go together the tracks were the worst . Came with 2 sets of tracks so one side was of one type and the other side well you get the drift. that's because there was an insufficient number of pieces to build two of the same tracks.

Your interpretation of the hobby art is perfect and I think it's exactly what the art is . Too many guys get hung up on "rivet" counting. I try to be fairly accurate technically. But it is a fun hobby art and interpretation is the final product. And keeping it in scale... You have done very well with the pin wash . And great tonal appearance . Bravo!!!

I don't think Tiger 100 had the tow cables on it anyway ornthe crowbar i have this kit aswell and see they have put a type A and type.B for added cables up top amd as for the new cupola i don't know what im missing but its exactly the same as the one on the sprue i have anyway all bolts line up the same im confused on this one even looking at the one you show side by side there the same! I read the sprokets were inaccurate this im looking into! I have the 3 in 1 dragon kit kit 6600 it it has this kit in it im building that first as its upgraded with new parts to build this tiger but dragons tiger 100 bix art itself is all wrong just crazy stuff!

Bordor model's have just relised this tiger 100 you can make the other one with the panzer 3 bin from the kit aswell inky the exhausts are different I've noticed they are slightly above the engine deck with a few luvers cut into them facing the engine deck it's strange? Maybe they have just stuck the wrong one's on hopefully there's more than one type on the sprues! I have thus RFM one you built I liked it alot! There new one with new tooled engine and Zimmerit will be interesting!
