I have one, bought it at Tractor Supply at the end of the season 10 years ago for $80.

Thanks for this stove review. Regarding the top cooking plates that come out, there could be a little smoke for the first minute while everything is cold. but once the draft gets moving up a warm chimney, I bet you could even lift the first plate up a few inches and there would be very little smoke to no smoke. Smoke wants to find the big, warm chimney, not a tiny opening or crack to a room. This type of stove has had many manufacturers over the decades, and is tried and true. Nobody holds patent it seems.

It called a damper you open when starting fire then as fire gets going you start to close it to keep heat in the house I've had mine for 20 years just have to change every year 😊😊😊😊
