Thank you for such a great history lesson ! Thanks Greg and Bill. Look at how far we have come and the younger generation needs to see they would not have what they have if not for these innovations!

Why is the pvc handle your favorite? Is there a specific technical reason ? Is it more safety? In case that i’m playing freefly do you think that the pvc is better than freefly handle?

Greg and the UPT team are great they did do a great job of educating us freshlings. Met Greg at Fresh Meet in Paris we didn’t get to jump at all that day so it was nice having UTP and other Vendors there to talk to. Nice guys 🤘🏽

Some people would always tell me that my closing loop was too loose, as Greg shows here. Riggers would argue that any bumps or during flight could easily knock the pin out of the loop, therefore needing it to be as tight as possible. Could you advise?

How often? Once per 30 days, or once per 180 days? Also, is exercising the 3-ring webbing not needed anymore?

Why not stack the rizers?
@UPTVector Жыл бұрын
Great question! We suggest a slight offset of the risers when routing against the side of the reserve tray, under the internal riser covers, to allow for a low bulk and flush display during packing. This will in turn, limit interaction between the front and rear riser during opening sequence. WIN/WIN!
@luisrosillosanchez8691 Жыл бұрын
Why has you closed the top bands ( shoulders bands) at the last moment?
@UPTVector Жыл бұрын
Greg, through MANY MANY pack jobs, has found that he personally likes to use the magnetic riser covers to hold in place until he has finished his pack job. He finds this to be an easy way to insure correct magnetic polarity when packing lots of different Vector containers. He finalizes the pack job on his Vector by neatly securing the external riser covers as shown. This is his personal preference of order for speed and efficiency. Thanks for the question!

Know some wingsuiters who put the stows of the d-bag, to the top of the rig , instead of the bottom , they claim it gives a better opening for wingsuiting

fukc.... I wish I knew this was so easy to replace the loop. The other day, I took out the old loop and struggled to get the new one for almost 2 hours. Love these shorties with #GetGearedUPT.

This is amazing. I followed all the steps and not only is my lower back carpel tunnel gone, but it's added 3 points to a 4-way and made my swoops 25% longer due to less drag. You're a hero Greg!

Also check that the approved reserve canopies haven't changed since the rig was made. Customer bought a Vector and optimum reserve direct from UPT and found out 3 years later that the combination was no longer allowed.

The "spinning malfunction" is simply misleading. If you fly a high performance canopy, You will not spin once around and then chop. From experience, I would not recommend an RSL, or even the magic that is SkyHook for any high performance canopy. Why? Because I hate spinning on my back on my reserve. I know I know. It was all my fault, and never the actual gear.....But seriously, if you jump an HP canopy, you don't need an RSL....And if you do, maybe take a look at your decisions.
