Those cars are not what I call a barn find . If they where the barn didn't have a roof and in a flood area. If people are giving decent money bids it's because they want the body tag and and titles because their going to swap tags. That's the only reason.
@rileysgarage7 күн бұрын
@@raymondcollyear4773 where they were pulled out of was def worse. They set them up this way so people could view them for the auction. None of these cars have titles. So they def won’t be doing that lol.

On the 65-70 Chevys, if the quarters are that far gone, the frames are DEFINITELY junk. I have owned a fair amount of these cars and being in Wisconsin, rusted out frames are common. The 70 Caprice piqued my interest. Owned a 70 Impala Custom Coupe in high school. Maybe some salvageable parts but nothing more.

I saw the auction listing for these. Very few buildable, but good parts cars. I do wonder what all of the loose parts stacked inside some of them were, might have been worth buying the whole car just for the contents.

20 years ago I was the proud owner of a rusty 81 C10. The box needed to be replaced so I brought home a replacement. I cut all the bolts, removed the taillights, and proceeded to load as much scrap iron into it as i could find before driving to the local scrap yard. The speed at which the operator came flying out of the cab apologizing purfusely after the box came off when he turned on the electromagnet still makes me chuckle. I had to tell this poor guy having a panic attack a half a dozen times that the box was part of the intended load of scrap. In hindsight I maybe should have forewarned him.

in an auto brz pushing anywhere near 400 horsepower you're going to blow that transmission. if you want to make that power your best bet is to trade it for a manual. im sure there'll be someone out there who would go for that trade
