Fun fact: If you have the Antoillier Giraffe deployable hunting stand, you can place it hanging off the top of the stairs on the West side to get up even higher. Not game breaking but does give you an even better vantage point.

Nice video. Your look into the bullet drop is valuable - BUT what about the precision? IRL there can be a significant difference between ammo A and ammo B. Is that reflected in this game?

I'm really enjoying this map, even though most of the the species aren't new its got a great layout and mixture of swamp/mountains/forest biomes.

I haven’t played it super long but I have just about every POI discovered and I started hunting a few hours ago. I can NOT for the life of me get a good hunt going. In a reserve like aurora I can go hunt moose, elk, and bison, then caribou and/or Sitka and/or mountain goat, then do whatever until 17 and have a great time hitting moose zones and it’s amazing. With lintukoto, I will hit a few lakes, see a couple mouflon, many a group of reindeer, and that’s it. I can’t even hunt moose like crazy like I do on aurora or Nez perce.

I’ve seen others say the same thing. I’ve had a totally different experience. This is one of the few maps where I can get on and not feel like I can’t find the animals I’m after in that hunt. Other maps feel like sometimes I can’t find a single animal no matter where I go. This one has been great to me so far.

Tough to say. I think most people are hesitant with it but end up really liking it. Theres not a ton of animal changes but the map itself is amazing and the story is really good.

I haven't played on Lintukoto Reserve yet, but I already really love it, especially since it has animals like the Wolverine. I've been wanting to see Wolverines in a hunting game like theHunter:Call of the Wild for quite a while. Lintukoto Reserve is now, next to Matariki Park, the greatest map ever (so far) in Way of the Hunter. However, I really wish I could say the same thing about Tikamoon Plains, which, sadly fell way below my expectations when it came out. One reason why is because that reserve, despite its massive size, only has just 12 animals on it, which is absolutely shocking because there are dozens upon dozens of very popular game animals in Africa that could've been added. Also, there are no Elephants, Rhinos, Hippos, Giraffes, Crocodiles, or Zebras on Tikamoon Plains. I fully expected the developers to add those animals, especially the Elephant and Rhino, to Tikamoon Plains, especially since we see a taxidermized Elephant head and Rhino horn in the Nez Perce Valley story missions. Instead, the developers failed me, and every single one of us, by not adding any of them, and it still, to this day, makes me extremely upset (Also, if you look at the Safari Woodleigh Hydro Solid polymer-tipped ammo, you can see that there's an Elephant on the box for the ammo. I hope that's foreshadowing, as I am begging the developers to add Elephants, Rhinos, Hippos, Giraffes, Crocodiles, and Zebras to Tikamoon Plains).

I do love tikamoon but I wish they’d of added some of those animals. It’s still got great potential cause they could add more later. I heard a rumor they won’t add the highly desired ones because they’re endangered and they don’t want to encourage poaching them, which I think is dumb and they should give the people what they want. Lol

@@Patrick_304 Each weapon has three ammo slots (hit the "change ammo" button in your inventory when you have a weapon selected), you have to fill each one manually with the chosen ammo type. If you're only carrying 20, fill in all three slots and you'll be carrying 60. I don't know how you'll use up 60, but you'll be carrying them.

Absolutely enjoying this map, at the end of the day areas only have a certain amount of huntable species and it's inevitable you'll see re-skins. Possibly my favourite DLC map so far but each to their own I guess.

Gotta say this map seems very disappointing, 90%+ existing species and most of the species on the map are not desireable to hunt outside Lynx, Red Deer, Fallow and Reindeer. Definitely not spending my money on transylvania+

I’ve heard that a lot and get it but having played a lot of that map and Transylvania I have to say they are extremely different maps. I like both but this new one is the better of the two, IMO.

@@FullSendWhiskeyGaming I did see someone post a video showcasing the new mission piebald Reindeer and I have to admit it was pretty stunning and also really enjoyed that the actual reindeer weren't just a reskin/copy paste of the caribou from Alaska and they looked highly impressive. I've yet to see proper footage of the lynx so I'll hold judgement on those but they looked okay in the trailer. I might watch some more of your content and others and decide or wait for a sale. Thanks for the feedback!

Nice leucistic! I’m considering getting 2 more DLC maps: Vurhonga and either Yukon or Rancho. I like deer and moose game and like maps that are open OR have spots I can snipe from. Which do you recommend?

Vurhonga and Yukon are definitely in my top 5 so I’d personally go that route. Rancho is cool but not the easiest to hunt. There could be some good spots for longer shots but same could be said for Yukon.
