👍 Nice fishing clip. Short, quick and a lot of action. Camera angles were awesome even the underwater shot. Making that stretch effort for that awesome overhead shot - worth it! 👍. Again nicely done and 4 years later... still getting likes👍

Nice angle for the GoPro up front. What speeds are you getting out of that Yamaha 15?

Thanks! The 15 pushed us around 24-25mph but the gheenoe is heavier than it looks. I have a 25 Yamaha now and it runs around 35mph

Yeah, I've got a 95 classic and want at least a 15 for it. I've only used electrics on it on our local reservoirs. It's much nicer than my old 74 lowsider to fish out of. Classics are just way cool!

I love this vid. I watched it about a year ago and it lit a fire that made me want my own boat to take out fishin like this. Last September my wish came true. I bought a 14 foot boat spent three months sanding scraping and painting. It has a 9.8 two stroke and making new wooden seats. Thank you guys so much

Y'all make it look easy haha. I fish all the same areas on my gheenoe and I never find fish that size. I guess that's what keeps me coming back. Keep it up!

J Mac Thanks. Yeah the 15 pushes it along pretty well, but the boat is rated for a 25.. I cant imagine you could stand on the poling platform without sinking it, haha.

Nice video. The rod holders on the starboard side, how did you mount them? I have a Gheenoe classic too, no poling platform. Looking for ideas for rod holders.

When I bought it, it was set up with a seat in the middle (above livewell) with stick throttle on the right and steering on the left. When I put the Yamaha tiller 15hp on, I removed steering and throttle and was left with the fiberglass pieces they were mounted to. I just riveted them on the right mount.
