If you adjusted the tension on a genuine HD pogo, you wouldn't need the helper spring. Super B carbs have been obsolete since the invention of the accelerator pump 😅

I just got a ‘92 Fatboy and I want to do some of what you did. Was the rear fender stock Before you cut it and is now stock height off of tire ? Did you just grind the fender and caliper tabs off and put them back on ?

I am only 83 years old, but my Harley is a 99 EVO Softail Custom. Only 25 years old. But I started on a 1942 "45" Flat Head, when I was 14 in 1955. I kind of like them all from the 40s to the 90's. I rode an 84 Iron Head Sportster for 23 years. The newer bikes do nothing for me. Anything newer than the late 90's just do not have what the older bikes have. If I had to explain it you would not understand.

Love the bike! I'd leave the baffle out. It sounds better and that type of baffle is junk (too much baffle). I use the lollipop type on my shovel. The 2 into 1 pipes will help with back pressure. The baffle will give you more mid-range torque. You will feel the difference.

I have an 81 FLH that I bought new. The engine did blow up 2nd season. Was rebuilt with some better parts and 79 flywheels balanced. Has not been touched since. All original paint. I put 4 over tubes and 10inch apes on it. I would not give this bike up for anything new.

Lovely bike! Your Pop's 76 looks better. Sorry! A front fender would balance it out. The FL front fender is a style icon. Great channel, G'day from Australia.

I've got a 77 and run a short E S&S ... had it about 40 years now. Sounds like yours ids due for a battery soon. I also ran the solo cop seat with the pogo stick. No mater how i beefed it =, I still felt like I was sliding off. Went back to a frame mount. Nice job resurrecting ... one more thing I painted a similar a similar 2 tone scheme only with silver and charcoal grey. It appears we share aesthetics

Should be adjustable shocks notches to stiffen them up on the bottom. Youd need the half moon tool if so .

Why not just go through the carb, get some new intake gaskets and make it right! You have taken the time and changed to another iffy carb, kicked it a million times, cursed it a few hundred times and Now your back at square one! For the next video. Hmmmm Nice bike! The faults belong to the Owner. Ride Safe. Good luck on the next round

Been 20 yrs and figured it was about time. Haven't fired it yet! Did Lots of stuff! Mostly wiring had it since 1986 carb wasn't and issue but had to re do cables and controls figured just do all if it then be done for a few more years
