I remember this from playing it as a kid on console. To my memory it is not required to go to the far right wall at 00:50 of the video. The upward move can be executed somewhere close to the left wall as well, but not sure about exact position.

@@skeltek7487 It can be done at the left, which is the optimal place for speedrunning, but I often fail getting the positioning right on the fly. I have to align myself to get it right, which for me would waste more time than just going right. More power to those who can.
