What happens if you color it in first and then add the embossing powder next?

I would have liked one or two flowers directly on the card...not as die cuts. Much more elegant that way...JMO!

I don’t know you to know every item in every drawer of your sewing room. Just a general idea of the set up is all it’s needed. In our after I watch the video I won’t remember, anyhow nor is there any reason to remember.😊

Good for you for stepping out of your comfort zone! I love the colors you used. I have that same color palette system. I've had the digital pdf version for some years now, but had never really used that much. I recently got the color cubes after Kristina Werner inspired me. She had mentioned that she could find a color inspiration palette in the digital interactive pdf, then pull the card for that to have at her desk. Genius idea, since the cards don't take up nearly as much room as my tablet and I can keep them in the craft room, so I don't have to remember to take my phone or tablet back with me. I already made 2 cards with different palettes, so I guess that method might work out well for me. Hopefully...! Anyway, thank you for sharing your process. I'm sure your aunt will love to have the card, & I would bet whomever she sends it to will absolutely LOVE it! I really like how you did the foiling with the rough edge. I don't have a hot foiling system, but I do have a Mini Minc, so I may try something similar. Maybe I could print something with rough edges on my laser printer & then foil that. Thank you for that idea, Christina. Take care, & have a fantastic day! :)

Beautiful card! I am a flowery kind of gal for cards rather than cutesy and/or trendy. You might want to consider Spellbinders Betterpress plates that have the Letters of the Alphabet. Very versatile as not only can you better press these but you can also glimmer them - they can make great note cards

I have never thought to do a bokeh technique with different colors like that. Really cool! I've always done it by stamping or stenciling with white pigment ink over a colored background. I may have to try your way - it just looks so neat. I also like the ink smooshed watercolor ombre background. I've done ombre, I've done ink smooshing, I've done watercolor ombre/gradient. But again, I've never done it by "stamping" the ink pads to a non-porous surface, spraying it with water, & smooshing the watercolor paper on top. Thank you for sharing all these techniques, Christina. Take care, & have a fantastic day! :)

I know this is an older video but I was just researching the price of the Home Depot Job Ticket Holders and I wanted to alert you to this: Did you know that if you walk in the store and buy them--not on sale--they will cost you 13 cents more per sheet than if you order them from Amazon? Still an Office Depot product, exact same Product #. As of today (4-9-24) the store charges $8.69 for a 10-pack ($0.87 per sheet) but if you buy them on Amazon it's $14.99 for a 20-pack ($0.74 per sheet). The savings could end up adding up to the purchase price of a stamp set...or a die...or more cardstock...or.... ;~) thanks for your great video!

I love cross stitch. I have been stitching on paper using Lawn Fawn embroidery dies and Chari Moss patterns. I am enjoying it so much! I look forward to being ready to stitch on Aida cloth again or even trying this linen cloth you showed. I look forward to seeing your creations as you progress.

So glad you are doing cross stitch. I started a year or so ago and have so many finishes, but not fully finished. I only use 14 count aida because it’s bigger😊. I also don’t know how to “fully finish”, so the ones I have done are just “done”. I watch a few few floss tube videos. Stitching with the Housewives, Fat Quarter Shop, and Anabellas. You are already so accomplished! Would love to do a tiny town. Great video! Cheryl- in Texas
