Awesome interview brother. I'm a big Dale Sr. fan but JM was my #2. His Pocono pass on Earnhardt ranks #1 from the 90's imo. He could have completely wrecked Sr. but instead he moved him clean. Class pass by JM.

Is 2/12 slope roof okay for shingles?
@KeepinItRioPodcast2 ай бұрын
I personally wouldn’t recommend that. There are different types of low slope products that will be less vulnerable. Shingles have many seams, which can get water intrusion easier.

The b vent collar should never have been sealed down to metal, and the shingles the bottom should have never ben installed it allows redirection of water flow and helps create ice damns

Look at yall get so happy when yall plan to overcharge on services haha
@KeepinItRioPodcast Жыл бұрын
How do you figure it’s overcharging, when the Insurance company has to approve every single bit of it? You have to build a case to get paid what they ultimately end up paying as a fair wage for the services rendered. If you see it as overcharging, you’re missing out on more opportunity for your business and the people that you provide a living for with it.

Didn’t vector marketing an affiliate group settle a class action lawsuit for their predatory practices within their warm market? Pressuring new hires to list all their contacts sometimes even by force? And not paying wages?

Manager at 16 that’s ballin lol
@KeepinItRioPodcast Жыл бұрын
It was different times in the early 90’s. I was in charge of the overnight shift a lot throughout the Summer. We had to stay open in the Dining Room all night. There were fights, people destroying things for fun, you name it. I learned a lot from it, though. I can handle angry Homeowners for my roofing business if it needs to happen because of some of the things I learned there. I don’t think they make teenagers managers anymore.

We are in San Antonio, TX. There isn’t really anything salt water nearby. I think it’s from the Furnace blowing into the attic. The connection is loose from when they installed the new Furnace a few years ago.

Guessing door-to-door sales, right? If so, why would you think it's anything besides a stranger bothering them which causes the bad mood? It's most assuredly you, not the brother wife-phucker. Nobody likes strangers at the door. But hey, whatever helps you get through the day, i guess.

I only ever did one roof in my life but we got all new hardware, made what was custom flashing from stock galvie, used better shingles and doubled up on the paper in the valleys. The inspector put a written compliment on the permit for the job we did.
