Hey so i have a 335 with n54 im looking to do port injection and was recommended to run the REFLEX and i read it does the logging in the CANbus system, but the issue i ran into is when i went to “specifications“ on the page, it says “CANbus integration not available on n54 platforms” I downloaded the instructions just to see maybe if it was a typo, but still for the wiring instructions it says “in development”. So i read into the motiv reflex lite. And it says im still able to do logging and maps are unlocked(even though im not going to be the one touching that). But how would a failsafe work if its not logging from the CANbus? Or being able to see through the gauges on mhd as u displayed in the video, please help

235i is an F22 which have the N55 engine. this kit is for N54 engine E serise cars.... Look for a N55 single turbo kit

+omar elkhazendar absolutely. I prefer running race gas or e85 but it does work

+Jacob Hershorin thanks for the quick reply. Is it safe? And would you run it the normal way of putting the meth in the charge pipe? Also is a LPFP needed if your not running e85? Like a fuel it stage 3. And how about the HPFP

+omar elkhazendar we recommend doing the fuel it stage 3 with port injection. the meth would stay prethrottle

daniel bayevskiy The car has an HKS SSQV but moves a lot of air as a result of the size of the turbo so it sounds a bit more pronounced. We simply removed the insert so there is no chirp.

Gotcha, have been looking for the flutter bov noise, can it be achieved from any bov with a single or just the hks

daniel bayevskiy It has far less to do with the brand of BOV and more about how much boost you are running. Typically larger turbos ie singles size and larger move a good bit of air. Same reason you hear the flutter on other platforms because they are running larger turbos and higher boost.

+daniel bayevskiy Also, I didn't pay much attention to what I was saying in regards to flutter... That's typically compressor surge and is NOT a good thing! You'll go through turbo's fairly quickly doing that!

Yea, flutter means, closed throttle body and the instantaneous built up air pressure air-braking your turbo wheel. CH CH CH Ch ch ch, it's not a good thing, it's actually chringeworthy if it's bad enough. It also also to having to respool the slowed down turbo, so you fall back inbetween shifts when racing.
