I love this! The only problem was that you were out of frame when making the hook with the wire. I couldn't see how you did it. If you combed out the pom poms, they would be even lighter and fluffier. TFS!, BTW, I love your southern twang!,😊

How many pieces of ribbon/trim do you typically use for one of these? So cute!!

Hi! Thanks for the question. I would say start with 10-15. Fold them in half to see if it's the desired thickness then add to or remove based on preference. Remember that how wide or skinny the ribbon is will determine the chunkiness, therefore change how much you'll need to use.

I believe they're usually at least 16inches. Honestly, I fold the first ribbon in half to make it about the length I want, then go from there.

I would say about 14in but I normally just eyeball the first one (cut it at the desired length) and cut the rest to match.

Lol... This tickled me so much because I would put them on EVERYTHING! But I guess more realistically they would be a cute charm on the spine of a book. It would be a cute addon to HM packages. Also as a banner(w/ multiples) in your craft space. There are other ways but those come to mind immediately.

I'm a bit concerned about the part of the pin that was left after snipping it. I see that it's hidden in the pom pom, but concerned that even though its hidden, it could still be a safety hazard. So, I'm asking if there is a purpose to leaving it long? Educate me please, and thank you. I very much enjoy seeing your beautiful creations!!

Questions are welcomed here always. The flat head pin is used as an option to turn your cotton candy into a charm. It doesn't stay sticking up where it could poke or injure anyone. You'll eventually use your wire rounders to curl the tip into a loop which is shown in the tutorial towards the end of finishing it off I believe. Hope that helps. Tfw!💛
