If you are looking to model an abandoned and stripped of parts car, a lot depends on the construction of the model. When you take the windows out, how much of the interior will be visible and will it look realistic? All that being equal, I would go with which would have been the cheapest to purchase and hence the least valuable. Cheers!

Nice layout. Recently I have moved over to O Gauge which my new layout is named as Hermes Road. It's fictional British trains on a 8x2 boards. Functional and I am happy with my end to end layout.

Dapol have changed their recommendation, they no longer say 14v AC but 12v DC should be used. I've also noticed with mine that they tend to mess about initially if switched on in the 'stop' position, but work perfectly from the get-go if they were left in the 'go' ( up or down according to whether they're upper or lower quadrant) position, when the power was turned off after a running session.

Hi. I am at the moment cleaning track by hand. I've always been a bit dubious about track cleaning wagons. If it really works. Could you do a video on your track cleaner. Is there somewhere you put liquid in? What are the pads.How it all works? Be good to see a video on that. Your wagon looks good. You might persuade me to buy one. Many thanks.

I’ve had trouble with liquid once spilt it on the layout at door and had to try clean off.

Hi. I love the old ford's. Had cortinas, granadas, consul, excellent. Just ordered the oxford models from Hattons. Enjoyed your video. I think hornby, bachman, etc. They are so overpriced. Younger ones can't afford the prices. Companies making millions and not worried about youths etc coming into the hobby.
@Maurice00PA9 ай бұрын
What a shame about Hatton's. I live in the U.S. and getting British prototype models here means importing them. Hatton's was always easy to deal with, had decent prices and packaged everything well for the long trip. I could also pay them through Paypal which meant no charge for foreign currency like my credit card would do. Guess I need to start looking for a new dealer. Cheers.

Have you checked the box? I think Hornby says 2nd radius curves minimum? I know they are below the normal standard in terms of running ,but I know someone who had the 67 DB train set and it's a lovely runner with no problem! This is an old Lima toy with an upgraded motor??? I've not got one in Hornby, but I did have a Lima one and can't remember it de railing ! Maybe Hornby have changed the wheel's also? Shame as it looks like Hornby themselves are off the rail's too much of these day's !
