@TeamHarrel can I ask on my farmall h propane tractor I DO NOT HAVE A VENT like on the video where he opens it after he hooks hose up to draw the propane in the tank this is the only propane tractor I have seen in my entire life WITHOUT A VENT ON IT ???

That's amazing, this means we can be compressing methane from cow shit to run a tractor or compressed wood gas.

This is propane (petroleum gas) which can be liquefied under low pressure ( 3-6 atmosphere) depends on temperature and stored on thin wall tank, but methane (natural gas) cant be liquefied under normal conditions. Methane is stored under 100+ atmospheres in heavy thick wall pressure cylinders. If you want liquefied methane you need to use cryogenic cooling an store it in double wall container with thermal insulation and methane still slowly boils away because it cant be stored in closed tank without constant cooling.

Very little lost, you don't want air going in. My brother worked years and years around propane, I asked him one day that question on loss of fuel, his answer was the loss would just about fill a bic lighter.

We don't have much choice. We cannot leave liquid in the line as it will warm up and break the rubber hose.

Propane isn about $2.50 a Gal but that included delivery.
