I only discovered Volbeat maybe 6 months ago and I've fallen in love with their music, particularly their 4 albums with Rob. I didn't know he had left the band and when I found out only a few weeks ago I was seriously bummed. I'm sure they will still be fantastic but Rob had something special with them. Here's to the future for them both🤘

Bands should focus on making music, not worrying about who is playing it or listening to it. Music is supposed to be for EVERYBODY. If you want to pick and choose, then maybe you shouldn't be doing music. They surely don't need to take a public political stance either. Doing things like this can piss off half of your fanbase.

And as a musician myself, it's just stupid to cry about how your songs are being used once released into the wild. For example, I remember Trent Reznor getting all bent out of shape when a stripper danced to "Hurt". Poor baby! To be a musician who offers his music up to the masses, to be all "...but not you!" is like ripping open a feather pillow in front of a fan and then expecting to snatch all those feathers after they've been blown to the four winds.
