Hi! Your videos has always been inspiration to me and help me a lot. This Vray is giving me problems despite watching your videos several times. Please I need a video on how to do the settings for the VFB and how generate more than one image and locate them because am not seeing them in my output setting folder. Thanks

broooooooooo i'v been saying this! No body believes me. In blender you have to reinvent the wheel with math every single time!
@tetsuooshima832Күн бұрын
Exactly. It took me many years to learn Houdini but without much math skills I can still have fun because there's a node for almost everything. Then geometry nodes got released in Blender and I realized it would be harder to learn... Most people doing amazing things with Blender geometry nodes are hardcore users, I can't reproduce what they do at all, too complicated

if you have to make a click bait, at least show some creativity!! yes geometry nodes are not the most fun part about blender, that does not make blender harder nor houdini easier and you cant bring one single example and generalize it like that!! .. do you have any idea what you're talking about?

I wanted to say modeling is better than in most softwares but then I remembered I have “survive Blender aid pack”, addons that bring Blender closer to industrial standards and make the interface pleasant and intuitive.

Wow, that's incredibly exciting to hear! I had also been putting off learning Houdini because of the perception that it's extremely difficult. You're like a myth-buster, proving that this myth is BUSTED! Can we look forward to a complete course on transitioning from Blender to Houdini in the near future? Thanks🙏

Depends on what they're working on, houdini usually use for vfx and huge scale vfx.

The new Houdini 20.5 Recipe will be a game changer IMHO, they are somewhat easy to make, and they can be shared or sell, or whatever, SideFX should create a page where users can share them, these will make life so much easier for artists that are less technically oriented, again, IMHO !!!

Blender is harder because houdini was thought to be procedural from the ground up and today have a lot more tools, assets and node groups ready to make procedural stuff that blender lacks because either it did not have the human programing resource to implement it or did not care before geometry nodes came. But some people find houdini hard not because it is hard, but because they are not familiar to the procedural/node workflow needed to make stuff in it. Always nice to see people talking about blender and houdini. Keep up the good work.
@TopChannel1on13 күн бұрын
Yeah if u know geometry nodes houdini is significantly easier
@gcharb2d3 күн бұрын
There has been much more development done for Houdini 20.5 in 8 months, than for Blender in the last 5 years, and that includes Blender 2.8, and the BI is having more and more trouble raising funding, Blender's future is bleak IMHO !!!
