I remember being there when Chip sang this. When he hit that one note, it just echoed through the auditorium. It was absolutely beautiful.

This reminds me of my Dad. i was raised listening to the Blackwood Brothers and others. I can still hear and see my Dad singing this and other gospel songs, with Mom playing the piano. I was blessed to have 2 wonderful parents. Love you and miss you both so much.

This was at one of the great Pastor's Conference's that FB Jax had every year. I was fortunate enough to be there for what I've heard was his last sermon.

I was a member of his flock for 42 years. He was a precious shepherd that knew my name although I was from a family, not of any consequence. He knew his congregation.

My folks used to live in Jackson, Michigan. Occasionally I would drive by Spring Arbor College and wonder what was happening there. (So many little colleges like that uj the Midwest.) Now I know God was training angels for his choir. Hope all is well there and JAX and wherever her ministry takes her.

I’m 25, grew up in this church. Up until I was about 11 this worship was just a normal Sunday for me. There was an effort among my peers when I was around 11 years old to get rid of this music. After I attended other churches, I’ve realized this was a successful movement in pretty much every church across America. The golden age is passed. A masculine desire to strive for excellence has been killed by the feminine desire to not step on anyone’s feelings. Make no mistake historians who will write about church history in the future. The death of the American church was the adopting of the feminist movement by the Christian’s in America. A complete accepting of all the modern cultures ideals without question whether it was in the Bible or whether it forwarded God’s plan. This tragedy, my heart cannot bear. The only Christian’s I can take fellowship in, the only ones who still seem to have fervor, are in my own family. Jesus’s church is asleep at the wheel. That sleepiness makes me question whether they can still be called His church at all.
