Hello Ben10to10, good experience and effort to make this video, would you please tell me which river is that in this video? Thanks. Look forward to other Packraft video
@BEN10TO102 жыл бұрын
It is one of the main rivers in Cumbria. Unfortunately the pack raft is now sold and I've moved on to a slightly larger boat.

Excellent. I was on Brugh marsh today, March 30, 2021, Port Carlisle, watching a spectacular bore wave go past and onwards to Carlisle.

stunning !!! Great weather !!! could you take a boat and sail from the start to the finish ?
@BEN10TO108 жыл бұрын
Not sure about the start, pretty shallow. But certainly from the middle bit down, a lot of people kayak from Lazonby downwards.
@citic1018 жыл бұрын
This is great thanks ,if you have time would you walk around the village and film the post office and the pubs , i lived there 40 years ago and miss it every day ! those new build houses destroyed the village. At Noras shop they used to sell petrol but not any more

thanks for posting the video. I am impressed by how small it packs down to. Could you tell me how much was this and where from please?
@BEN10TO108 жыл бұрын
I got it from this website www.backcountrybiking.co.uk and they import them the US. They are eye wateringly expensive and they don't include the paddles or life jacket. But they are great fun.

Oof i bet, real nice mission mate, are you doing any more?
@BEN10TO109 жыл бұрын
+FPV Carlisle Cumbria, Yes I am, The Lake District, Roman wall and a couple of other ideas but the summers fading away rapidly, might have to be next year now, we'll see. Greatly appreciate your comments
@fpvcarlislecumbria62299 жыл бұрын
I was going to do some Roman Forts, just never got round to it. there are too many missing or not visible around here too. Winters nice flying, usually calm and sunny, just take some good gloves. You should also try with the goggles, much more fun, a realtime flight sim :) If you ever want to try them let me know, can meet up for a flight some time, a lot more precision flying like this. :)
@BEN10TO109 жыл бұрын
+FPV Carlisle Cumbria, Thanks, we should maybe do that. I've thought about using goggles but as I get older the peepers don't work as well and I need reading glasses so I thought the goggles wouldn't work with me !

Thanks for your comment, this flight was nothing special just a routine training flight but it shows what a huge area Burgh Marsh covers (and it gives me practice!)
