Ok scared to tell you all this. But first of all let me back up and say this treatment works! Back to the scary part. I could feel the wax residue on my face was continuing to do damage. Don’t try this at home kids! But I used fingernail polish remover to get the excess wax off my face around the lip area. I only did it for a few seconds and immediately rinsed with cold water. The burn feeling immediately left , the dry skin was gone and the bumps left also. I think the residual wax causes most of the problem. Although it was probably the worst possible solution, it worked and I was able to stop the above treatment. I did test it on one area at a time. By the way, I will never do facial waxing again.
