Quite a lot of work to build a naturally aspirated 5.3 truck engine. I respect your attention to detail though, great engine! I currently own 3, all running great with over 280,000km each. I have a suggestion for you though, if you can fit a 14 inch by 3 inch air filter, you'll gain an easy 4-5 HP.

After a whole day riding I'm watching this video, I liked some parts of the soundtrack and the process is really relaxing, that seat looks as cool as the seat pans but way more comfortable; now I'm going to see your part 3! see ya! ride on! P.S. At the end the music sounded like in the movies when something kind of sinister is about to happen, ha!

Hello Guys! Awesome project, crazy, really crazy! I thought of this one myself, looked for a V8 I'd like to use and after a couple of days researching I land here to see you also got to the same conclusion - LS v8 in a classic Lada will bring lots of smiles to many, many people. Great work on the engine, really admired your dedication and all the hard work to make this rebuild. The time between videos makes me nervous, really hope to see the 2103 moving soon! One thing though, I have to say...this unit was definitely not deserving to be part of this - the rarest of the classic line and in such a condition should have gone a different path. No rust on any of the usual spots, saloon in excellent condition (mold doesn't count, scrub and Ozone generator) , all the chrome moldings and the rarest front grill used on export machines...you butchered it and I cried...were there no 2101s or 2106s to play with? Please! Try and keep as much of whats left there - the design of the 2103 is what will make this project stand out!

Very nice work! A little tip, blow some compressed air under the grips and they slide right on (or off)

What is the name of the tool you used to measure and score the lines on the tanks so that you have an accurate and straight cut. That looks like a very useful tool to add to my toolbox. Thanks brother! I just found your channel and I’m excited to see how this build comes out! ❤❤

Cool video! What transmission are you using? Quite a fancy adapter set to fit the trans to the LS.

Its a bmw 530 diesel box, you can buy an afordable adapter for them 🤠 so no need for building one 👍🏻
