Jon is such a superb musician. I've got many Dan bootlegs from the 70s through to 2021. Denny Diaz,Skunk Drew Ziing are wonderful but Jon and the great Mr. Carlton do it for me.

Perfection. Right on about the Beach Boys and Four Freshmen. I can listen to this endlessly, both by Donald and others who have covered it. Jon is a wizard of understatement.

Happy Holidays Jon!!! Thanks so much for this very beautiful and harmonically creative rendition of my father's one, true Christmas song! For my sister and I, as we remain, there's a sweetness and an innocence about the lyrics that seems to really touch people at this time of year. The Peggy Lee version has become my lifelong favorite, but hard to beat Sinatra and Nancy Wilson too. Wishing you and yours the best of everything, and of course, wishing us all PEACE & LOVE (somehow) in the coming year of 2025!!! Your old pal - Steve ☮♉

That's very nice, we have those UFO drone things over New Jersey and what are you doing? "Oh I just figured I'd knock out a little Christmas song for ya Bill!". Excellent! That's excellent! We might be taken over by another advanced race from a galaxy so far away the James Webb can't see it but at least we'll go down with a song in our heart Jon. Thank you.

Would have been nice for Jon to have demonstrated his approaches by using a couple of his arrangements and teach that. Also on the sheet he read of suggestions, none we’re demonstrated. While playing Yesterday instead of talking about how he would not use that approach now, show them what you would do now. This way these students could have had some tools to work with.
