absolute garbage units. Continuous intermittent problems. It's as if they need a firmware update because on the rare occasion it works for a few minutes, it runs well. Second replacement unit now and a whole set of new problems. Suspect the warranty replacements are just recycled units from other customer's returns

I have a similar brand made from the same inside components as this. Its almost never a wire or clogged pipe or water turned off. Of course that's all the fixes they show. I can't get mine to run and everything is connected properly and plenty of gas and water. E1 error as soon as water turns on. I'm guessing igniter or sensors are broken but no way to tell. And where am I going to get a replacement part?!

I have power to the unit, switch is good, fuse is good and the circuit board has power, but the controller never came on and is dead. new circuit board and the same result.

What a terrible instructional video. I find it hard to believe that a manufacturer would try to pass this off as an appropriate method to descale a tankless water heater. From the very first, and the lame application of Teflon tape I just knew that this is not going to be worthwhile. Unit plugged in and gas off? Who knows. How much descaler? Who knows. Just pour in the solution and let it sit for how long? Who knows. Cycle remaining solution through? Who knows. For the love of god, do it the right way. Use a low flow pump and let it wash out the scale for an hour or two. See any other video for the right way to do this.

I was wondering the same, but I don’t think it actually does close. I think their intent is that it just blows cold air in which in theory pushes some of the warm air out. This seems to be a very inefficient way to cool an RV.

Should have used ProFlex to fill holes, let it dry, instead of Dicor, then install AC. No sealant is required for AC installs.

Is the ac performing well reliably? I bought 2 of them, the controller box failed within a month and Fogatti gave me a difficult time replacing it. Eventually they did the right thing, though, and sent a new one. 2 weeks later the ac failed again, this time I'm not troubleshooting and now I'm fighting with them to send a replacement. Highly NOT recommended!

ATTENTION : at the 3:40 mark of this video , it is also important to check if there is a small plug in the water inlet and outlet of this unit . We spent the whole day figuring out why our heater wasnt heating and found (after several troubleshooting ideas) , that there was a small white plug that made its way all the way over to our bathroom faucet on our RV . We took the aerator off and out it popped . Hope this helps someone .

Don't even bother. I replaced mine with a standard household tankless that works and actually holds temperature. ALL RV specific tankless are junk. Fogatti won't answer tech support calls and refuses to honor their "warranty."

Now how about the E5 error code regarding the fan on the FOGATTI InstaShower 8 Plus RV Tankless Water Heater, Gen 2 which is 3 months old. Getting E5 error code. Power/propane good. Shut off 20 minutes, tried again with E5 code again. Powered off at heater, removed fused, waited 2 hours. Powered back on and E5 code again. Now what?

Bad how to video. Most of it is about how to put bolts in the masonry wall. Any idiot can do that. Like the idiot who made this video. Tell us about gas supply requirements, combustion air requirements and venting procedures. What kind of vent to use? Does it require proprietary vent pipe or is that B vent? Useless video.

do you have a video on troubleshooting water being too hot? I've seen 130 F even though the set point is 105 F. I've tried powering down and waiting one minute and repowering but no success and getting temperature to stay at 105 F. The water in the shower gets so hot we have to blend cold water. Blending cold water works for a minute or two and then it's too cold ...even if you shut the cold water off. ...frustrated with this situation.

Very vague on venting requirements, especially type of pipe and NOTHING about vent termination.

It gives me a e1 error over and over and over...... Lights for 2 seconds, then gives a e1 code and won't run... Fogatti will help you take some cold showers

No matter what I do I get an E1 code and the unit has to be reset . I’ve called tech support at least 10 times and they say it’s because of the BTU rate and send another unit which has the same problem . They don’t have anyone who has any technical skills and are just reading from some tech support manual . Very frustrated
