Are you sure your's are real UGG's? I've been wearing mine for 2 years or more, and almost every day during the winter. Mine are getting dirty, but they are still in great shape. I wear them all over the property, probably too much. When you look closely at them do they look exactly the same as the pair in my video? Or is it possible you got a knock-off imitation? Or did you rub against something sharp that would have cut them? That would make sense, but otherwise, I'm shocked that yours tore, mine are holding up great! If you can't use them in normal light sockets, why do they have both metal terminals? i can see having the threads be metal for durability even though companies are quick to replace plastic with metal in other use cases where durability is important. But why have the middle post be metal? Also, if you have a power source, why not let it charge the battery and also power the light? This isn't adding up.

Hi Jason, it's been so long since I've had these I can't recall. I had two different types of them, and they had two different purposes, though they looked similar. One of them was good in power outages, so we had them screwed into a few lamps and they were specifically intended to be used in case of emergency... I then bought a big generator for the house and I gave all of these bulbs to my Dad. I have since forgotten the intricacies of how they worked. I do remember watching the company's videos on their Amazon store and it made sense. I also remember, hopefully, it's still up, an older gentleman explaining the details and it was pretty good. I recall he was sitting in his kitchen or dining room. It wasn't a great-quality video, but I recall it being a good explanation.

Mine is giving off a weird greyish powder now that it’s been used for a few months. Any idea why?
@FamilyFirstProductReviewsАй бұрын
My first thought was extremely high temps might be the cause. My baking sheets haven’t done that. I asked Googles AI feature and this is what it said. I hope this helps, let me know what you think it might be? If your baking sheet is releasing a grey powder, it's most likely a sign of oxidation, which is a natural process where the aluminum in the pan reacts with oxygen, creating a grey residue on the surface; this is usually harmless and can be caused by frequent washing, especially in the dishwasher, and high heat exposure. Here's why it happens: Aluminum and Dishwashing Detergent: The chemicals in dishwashing soap can sometimes react with aluminum, causing a grey film to develop, especially when using a dishwasher. Wear and Tear: Over time, the protective coating on your baking sheet can wear down, exposing more aluminum to oxidation. What to do: Hand Wash: Try hand washing your baking sheet with mild soap to minimize the interaction with harsh dishwasher detergents. Clean with Baking Soda: Use a paste of baking soda and water to gently scrub the surface of the pan to remove the grey residue. Replace the Pan: If the grey powder is excessive and the pan is significantly worn, consider replacing it with a new one.

Very flawed. Excellent insights biblically on a line-by-line basis, which are well worth reading. Unfortunately, the author too frequently detracts from what he has sold the reader as the purpose and aim of the book by veering off into all kinds of very personal opinions only marginally relevant. In effect, the author, without prior reader consent, feels entitled to misuse a Bible commentary publication as a virtual personal platform to air his very personal gripes. A very disappointing, unprofessional and unscientific quality to what otherwise is a worthwhile read when delivering detailed Bible text. I bought into this and a couple of other books in this Prager series. It was a mistake which I half regret.
@FamilyFirstProductReviewsАй бұрын
Sincerely! Thank you for your comment. I believe I approached these books in a slightly different way, not saying better, just different. I've always appreciated swimming in other people's ponds, so I knew the water would be a little different, but I appreciate considering how others think who grew up very different than I. That said, when I read Prager, and anyone really, I do so with a desire to chew the meat and spit the bones. Certainly, this is Dennis's commentary, so it's going to be Dennis's views on the book in question. I found it to be fascinating without feeling the same level of disappointment that you did. I think your view is quite valid though. I just went into it expecting to hear his personal commentary, so I wasn't put off when I got it. :) I think only after reading your comment did I really stop to notice how many bones of gripe there was! Oh man, people are people! :) Thank you again for your comments, well said! And kudos on your appreciation for the Bible. Many blessings!

What, not enough screen real estate already?
@FamilyFirstProductReviews2 ай бұрын
The screen is plenty big! To your point, but this is not about that. The car mount frees your hands, but more importantly it keeps your eyes closer to the road, which will satisfy the camera on the rear view mirror that will kick you out of AutoPilot or Full Self Driving every time it feels you are not fully paying attention. So the phone mount is not about screen real estate, it's about keeping your eyes forward, which allows your car to drive you for hours on end without interruption. Hope that helps! Have a great day!

@FamilyFirstProductReviews2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment. Four or five is even worse than me. Sorry! I don’t have trouble getting to sleep, but I have trouble staying asleep. I also don’t want to be on medication for the rest of my life… I did a 30 day test because it’s so hard to determine if this is really helping or if I just had a good nights sleep unexpectedly for some other reason. After 30 days I am pretty convinced that it helps. For me, if waking up once or twice becomes my normal, instead of three times, then that is a win. I’m now on day 40-ish and I’m still waking up one or two times almost every night. Huge improvement! Sorry, this is a long message, but I’m just thinking out loud. I think also every time I wake up, I end up getting something to drink, so when I wake up less, I don’t drink as much water at night, therefore one of my wake ups may be eliminated because I don’t need to go to the restroom.… all in all, I’m still trying to figure it all out, but I’m happy with the improvement!

Have you figured out a station that doesn't fill up with water? Im not sure what standing water in a cup would do to the poison brew.
@FamilyFirstProductReviews2 ай бұрын
Great question. I have noticed that when rain gets on the poison it melts the crystals, but the flies continue to die because the poison is still all over the food. By the way bread has become a really easy food to use to attract the flies. Here in Texas we don’t get tons of rain, but when we do, I just make a new batch for the flies if it totally water logs the bait. That said, it still kills the flies after the crystals have melted so it’s really not been an issue. If you live somewhere that has a lot of rain I guess I would make something with a roof over it, the flies would still get to it. However, here in Texas I don’t get that much rain all too often plus this stuff is so cheap. I just make a new batch.

Thank you very much, I bought this because the price is very competitive with the specifications offered, but there is a little oddity, I have a 120W Android charger adapter, and I tried it to charger my power bank, it turns out it only has 61 Watt input, not up to 120W. do you know what it's probably for?
@FamilyFirstProductReviews2 ай бұрын
So first, let me just say that I'm probably not as techie as you are. :) I did reach out to the company, and they made this comment, maybe it will help you. Know that after charging at 140W for a few minutes, the power will drop to 65W or less due to intelligent temperature control, and the discharge will not be affected by temperature, and the discharge will be stable at 140W. Here's what I think I know about charging (mostly learned from Tesla Superchargers), batteries charge really fast at first, and then they scale back due to concerns for overheating and due to the battery having less and less room remaining to receive a charge. One person put it this way, it's like filling a drinking cup with a pitcher of water. As you pour, you slow down the closer to the top you get. Furthermore, unlike a cup, where you can just spill a little water if you pour too much at the end, you can't spill electricity when filling a battery...so it tapers off dramatically. I can charge my Tesla from 0% to about 70% in no time! Like 30 min, but that last 30% could take an hour. So I just stop at about 80% on road trips. All that said, and sorry for the long reply, it appears to be a temperature-regulating feature. My suspicion is that if you let your battery run down close to zero and then you charge, you should get a full 120W for a while, but then it will taper back to protect the charger and the battery! I hope that helps, again, I'm not a techy guy, so if I've said something stupid, just know I was trying! :)

I tried lying down in the back of my MY for the first time today, just putting down a memory foam topper. The biggest surprise was that despite having and advertising "Camp Mode", Tesla has not designed the back seats so that they fold down flat. They slope upwards significantly. Secondly, my head projects into the space beyond the top of the seats/platform. I'd love to see someone address these two things in detail - is the mattress tapered to compensate for the slope in the seats? And where it projects beyond the platform, what supports it and how sturdy is it - eg will it take the weight of my head and shoulders?
@joshg80263 ай бұрын
These are great questions by the way! OK here’s what I think. This lost Horizon mattress is really really great. Probably the best part is just how nice it feels and it’s got great structure within the mattress itself. I am 6 foot 3 inches tall so if you are taller than me and want your head to extend even further towards the front seat, you really ought to consider the Aerogogo mattress, because it has straps that will connect into the seatbelt hardware at the roof of the car next to each of the front two seats on both sides. it’s also longer so it stretches out and rests on top of the armrest. In other words, you’ve got two belts holding from the ceiling on both sides, and the end of the mattress is up on the armrest. I will include a link to that one. It is a fantastic mattress. That said, if you’re not tall like me or taller, you may not need that. When you extend all the way over the armrest, you actually cover up all the storage behind the front seat in front of the back seats. It’s a trade-off. There are positive and negative negatives. It just depends on what you really want. This lost horizon mattress is fantastic, and so is the Aerogogo. I have reviewed some other ones that are not as good but they are half the price, so they are also worth considering if you’re on a budget. I hope that helps. Great questions! www.amazon.com/vdp/0d54b468edc44f1ea723e9a3c2c006c2?ref_=aipsfvideo_aipsfinfluencer-6cf715fe&linkCode=ssc&tag=joshuagiere03-20 www.amazon.com/vdp/0e02878cc12141c39c1badfd119fb2f5?ref_=aipsfvideo_aipsfinfluencer-6cf715fe&linkCode=ssc&tag=joshuagiere03-20

Hey thanks Josh, I really appreciate the response. I will check out both of those. Having watched some other detailed reviews I’m starting to think my MY has a slight manufacturing quirk because the back seats slope up so much they rise up 13cm. I actually measured a 12.5 degree angle, more than twice the slope you could reasonably be expected to sleep on (generally agreed to be 1 to 5 degrees). Anyway, I think you’re saying these mattresses are thick enough to bury the 13cm and make it irrelevant.
@FamilyFirstProductReviews3 ай бұрын
You’re welcome. I once heard there was a 7% slope, and I would totally agree that the mattress eliminates any discomfort from that. You may be right, maybe yours is somehow different/defective. The quick fix might be to find another model Y and drop their seats to compare. Good luck!

So I liked that one too, if on a budget. www.amazon.com/shop/influencer-6cf715fe?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsfvideo_aipsfinfluencer-6cf715fe_62WHKC38RWM2TDRZMBPX www.amazon.com/shop/influencer-6cf715fe?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsfvideo_aipsfinfluencer-6cf715fe_62WHKC38RWM2TDRZMBPX_1 www.amazon.com/shop/influencer-6cf715fe?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsfvideo_aipsfinfluencer-6cf715fe_62WHKC38RWM2TDRZMBPX_2 I hope this is helpful!

Also, the foam support on this one is great. One unexpected feature to consider is at your feet. Does the mattress cover the holes or not. If it doesn't it's quicker access to those two storage wells...

Filters backwards
@FamilyFirstProductReviews3 ай бұрын
You know what, I think you’re right. This is how the company installed it and I’ve always left it like that. I’ll have to confirm it, but I think you’re right. It probably doesn’t matter much, it’s still filtering, but it makes sense that the whole cylinder should flip.

Well, after further review, I think my filter was installed correctly. I have watched three other professionals review this product and/or show the filter in the background, and it is always pointed in the direction that my unit is pointing in the video. The black cap closest to the wall and the clear thinner portion of the pointing towards the cleaner. If you know for a fact that this is installed backwards, please include a diagnostic or a link to a video proving it. Again, I think your observation is incredibly intuitive and it looks like it should go in reverse, however it appears that is incorrect. Thanks again for your reply.

Nice video, thanks to share it. Is it possible to wear it in the middle of summer with over 30 °C (in Africa)? If possible, how thin should the fabric be? Is 165 g/m² OK? Thanks
@FamilyFirstProductReviews3 ай бұрын
Thank you! I would wear the 165 in 30C/87F weather, but I definitely wouldn't do the thicker ones. I grew up in Africa myself, and have visited since. our temps were 37-41C and that is definitely too hot for even the thinnest wool shirt. But 30C, I'd say go for it!

What's price

$20. Though I’ve seen it for $30, right now it’s $19.99. amzn.to/4clZG7i I am still happy with this light.

That is so true! That's funny! I'm the same way, gotta do that research before I buy anything. Have a great day! By the way, this brush is almost 3 years old and the bristles and everything is still working great. The outer silver cover or paint has chipped in a couple of spots, but other than that, which doesn't matter, it's going strong! I'd buy it again.

what brass connectors did you use? 3/8 to 3/8 for your cold water line?
@FamilyFirstProductReviews4 ай бұрын
I am not going to be great help on this. I just looked at it and I'm not familiar enough with the sizes to know, and of course nothing is marked. If you are talking aobut the brass connection (I'll call it an L connection) coming out of the top of the unit, then I would say the brass connection running N and S of the top looks larger than 3/8. I would have guessed 3/4. Its certainly larger than the connection going to the left out the side towards the back wall of the sink. Again, I'm calling that an L connection. That looks like it could be 3/8. I know I'm not much help, sorry! I'm not very familiar with those fittings. You might not even be speaking of that brass connection...
