@@Film_Homage I Checked out your animation, The way you animated the car in the city is really cool, and that security cam shot was very creative. For feedback it all comes down to story. What I mean by that is the purpose of your short film, you had a combination of epic shots, I'd list them all down and at the end ask which ones are the most important, if the shot doesn't progress the story it's not needed. Taking an approach like this can ensure your story is understandable to more people and more engaging, increasing retention and views. Then it just comes down to the nitty gritty like making sure the cars wheels are always in contact with the floor plane, that each cut to a new shot isn't choppy, and the background awareness (for example: adding some street lamps in the city, and some intersections). Just out of curiosity how long did it take to render it all?

Words are not enough to say thanks for for your time❤. I really put my heart into that animation but also was learning much on the way so it's hard to separate learning duration from actual progress. It was all late nights and trial and error... But as a guess I'd say final shots came from about 7 to 8 hours of rendering time. Video editing rendering on Blender's VSE was of course much quicker...just wish it could get more subs and views😂

Yeah, I would almost call this the general struggle of artists. I started with Blender in 2016, and only now am I working on my first serious big project. Because you have this insanely great tool at hand, but then you think about: Since a serious project takes a long time and much of dedication, what should this project be? I had a couple ideas over the years, but nothing came to fruition and also, artblock hit many times. At least, all the random stuff I did tought me many skills and a few assets I created on those way too many years, I can now use for the big project. What can you say...... better late than never. And I envy you. It's not only a blessing to be into computers at the age of 13, it is even more so to tackle the complex task of 3D animation that young. I grew up in a village with very damn old school parents, so I didn't even know much about computers until being a teenager and getting my first own computer at the age of 18. And after that, many more years of drawing and video production until I finally managed to get a serious start with Blender.
@BlenderShenanigans79413 ай бұрын
Hey thank you so much for your comment! Yeah I just started a huge project recently and keep worrying about doing it perfect. Gotta keep telling myself to just start and get it down even if it isn’t my best project. I’m very lucky to have this tool at a young age and am so grateful to be able to create anything I can think of!
