Did you go live on Saturday? I can’t find the Deep Dive month 4 video.

On month 3, D2h, (LM), it’s only that one piece, nothing butting up, do you sew on black lines?
@boozyquilter3 күн бұрын
Whatever works best for you. You can hold it still with a pin. You can touch it with a small dot of glue. But I would be careful not to use too much so that you can still get the paper off when you're done. My favorite way to take care of this is a simple basting stitch. The stitches will come out very easily as you put the block together. You may notice some holes in the fabric, but once you get the quilts quilted you will never notice them

What do you put your machine length on?
@boozyquilter21 күн бұрын
Default on my machine is 2.4. I will drop it down to 2.0 for larger pieces. When the pieces get tiny I will drop down to 1.7 or smaller

Watching from Ont. CAN. I have been to Paducah 2x and ❤ it! I appreciate you giving us a clear glimpse of the show . Putting yourself down so much doesn't help. Pick a technique or teacher and go for it! 💞🤗 You are worthy . 👍🔹

Hi Amy, my sister and I both signed up for the Deep Dive block of the month late last night and I found your video this morning. I’m looking forward to following along with you over the coming year. This will be my first Legit Kit project.

How do you maintain which side is the right side of the fabric? It seems confusing with all the flipping of the paper and the pieces.
@boozyquilter2 ай бұрын
That is the beauty of solid fabrics and batik fabrics. There is no right and wrong side of them. I strongly recommend that your first few FPP projects are either solids or batiks. Having to worry about cutting that strange piece backwards is just not worth it, IMO

Have you tried putting the paper under the cutting mat?
@boozyquilter2 ай бұрын
🤯 Why did I never think of that?? I will try that out and see how it works
@boozyquilter2 ай бұрын
I tried this over the weekend with disappointing results. The transparent mat blocks just enough of the light to make seeing the cutting line extremely difficult.

Ive never done one of their quilts but I got this one, trying to find beginner videos on how the pattern works and how all those papers correlate and get organized but havent found one. I learned more in 2 min in a video you have on than I did watching a girl they recommend. Do I sound like a comlaining old woman? Are you plann ing a certain day of the week and time?
