I've had all the consoles, grew up on them but I gotta give the nod to Ps1 and Ps2 being the best. Ps2 especially because it's so dynamic. Put a Ps1 disk in? You get both. Also, that Ps2 transition when you have the wrong disk or invalid disk (RSOD) is downright creepy with the sound and red, it's pretty awesome.

I know I grew up with the PS2 more, but damn. The PS1 startup was nothing short of badass and epic nostalgia at its finest.

As someone who was born in 91, the PS1 intro resonates with my soul like nothing else. It still brings back that incredible feeling of excitement I used to feel when booting a Spyro, Crash, or Final Fantasy game.

None of them ever even came close to holding a candle to the PS1 sound. Dreamcast had the second best startup.

PS2 is the most legendary console, that Outer space feeling was always something else. PS1 definetly set the foundation for Greatness, PS3 and PS4 sound very boring in comparison, that's when Sony wanted to play it too safe. PS5 at least small improvement again.

I love my ps5, however there is so much childhood nostalgia in the ps4 for me😢

Владел пс2 с 2007 по 2015 год. Ни капли ностальгии. Из тысяч игр лишь десяток могли немного затянуть. Большую часть времени играл в resident evil 4 и black. На фоне этих игр, остальные казались второсортными. А вот Ps1… Звук стартапа вызывает неописуемые приятные эмоции. Moto racer world tour❤, syphon filter 3, driver 2, Donald Duck, toys story… Вот это ностальгия
