Bro, I got the goblin and I love that clipper. I have had to change the blade couple of times but I don’t know. I just love it the size and it’s quiet… but then again I take care of my tools and clean them regularly so there’s that too. They are my second favorites to the Plays

*The “Play” is officially my favorite clipper. The only 2 concerns I have are:* 1. After I Zero Gapped them, they began “Chewing” into my No. 1 & 1 1/2 guards when fully closed. 😒 2. These “Oil Reservoirs”..!! Is it collecting the Clipper spray, the 5 in 1 disinfectant, or the actual oil I use to lubricate the blades..?!? *Otherwise, these clippers are as quiet as (or perhaps even quieter) than my .50 Caliber MGS, cut thru bulk like the SC Rebels & feel good in the hands like a new Lightsaber! 9.5/10* 🫡🫵🏾👍🏾✅

Dual voltage with 5 hours of battery?, uhh no... I ordered the Slime 2 black for home and I think it's more than enough but If I was a professional barber I would have gone this route.

The reason people stick with them mostly is because there’s no other Clipper on the market quite like the instinct. Fuck stylecraft, I’m not giving them my money but I do have a Z Clipper that was on the TPOB website a while back and I love it. No other Clipper on the market is that small, it’s my favorite Clipper to detail with because of the power and size. Now if there was a quieter, tiny, ergonomic Clipper on the market to compete with it I feel like that would shake the game up crazy.

I agree on the biz part. Most people who didn’t experience problems don’t cut enough hair to get the clipper to the failure threshold.. in my shop i cut about 60 heads a week and burned 2 instinct clippers out in 6 months. They were both changed under warranty but you start to think “how the hell can a company make money like this..

I guess I got lucky. I get why you stopped producing them though. My Goblins run like beasts and use them on very coarse hair and it goes through the hair like butter. Would love it if you could come up with a solution for the Goblins. The Play is my go to clipper though

TPOB is the best I've ever used personally, and I have 28 years in barbershops. I also own Babyliss and Stylecraft clippers and trimmers.

An expired patent design watered down by MRD originally made by Panasonic. If you compare the 2 the quality of Panasonic is superior. Now there is a new design that is better but I clipper made them

I’ve still got my goblin trimmer and because of how good the x is I find I’m only using it on myself now. But I never used it constantly, I used it when I had to. I can see the need/want for the vector motor clippers on that thick longer hair. However even then, I just used my X for that and buzz cuts and use my play for everything else.
