I heard there was a big slide out work channel. There is surely more FSR carnage out there.

The sound and smell of this event was unreal. I felt it in the ground when it all came down. I am glad the slide at the end of this video wasn't the one that came down behind our house. It would be a different story for sure.

It looks like the slide may have missed some of the upper FSR.

We had a close call with the slide that took out the base of lucky 7. It was smaller in comparison to the 2 that took out the FSR. If the lucky slide has been like the one that took out multiple stages of the FSR, packhorse & leftovers.... it would have been a different story. Thanks for checking in Kyle!

haha! YES! Kranked 1 2 and 3 changed my life. NWD 1 with josh bender was a big influence to us as young riders. Haha yeah it was the golden era for sure.

It seemed that "north shore" style riding happened all over BC around the same time. Structures started popping up in Terrace around 1998-1999.... ish?? When did the first structures start popping up on copper mtn? @kristiangrey9149

True it ticks a few of the boxes, but 4runner has open diffs, cloth interior, no ac and no factory heated seats lol. In todays economy the 4runner is the better option. 5.9L has an affinity for premium fuel.

HA! I have had this conversation before. Mountain bikers have been calling it "copper" so long it's just stuck this way. I tried a few years back to change it to Thornhill..... and it didn't stick haha. Isn't copper mtn the peak next to copper flats? Thanks for watching.

DH trails at the bike park are a bit on the short side. But the park as a whole is a really good time. Brew bub is good too. Conveniently located 3 minutes from the park. There are a lot of reasons to go Kitimat these days.
