What is great about this clip is how when Stephanie gets pulled up on stage there is a miscommunication about what she's hoping to accomplish. Bono thought she was going to do the usual provocative dance thing that he'd been doing for 40 years. She tries, but she's awkward and doesn't really know how to go about it. She almost, dare I say, dances like a guy. And she's just dressed in jeans and a Tshirt. At the end of it all, you could just tell the band was not thinking too much of what just occurred and they were getting lined up for the next song when somehow, and I'm not sure how, fBono figured out that something was amiss. And what follows just lit up the arena. After the first couple of chords, you could see Edge and Adam just crack these great big smiles like, "Ok, this is good. I get it." And Stephanie proceeds to show the boys that she is one talented young woman. There was a palpable connection between her and the band and the audience that took Stephanie from a dud to a show stopper. Watching this clip, you cant help but fee proud for Stephanie. She brought a special moment to that show. Oh, and I was there.

Wow. I cried, watching that young woman control her emotions and flawlessly play with the band in front of thousands of people. She took cues perfectly, too. Imagining what it would have been like to have been called onstage to play with U2 back in my own youth, when they meant everything to me. I've played this song alone in my room for 30 years.

This was truly amazing. As a guitar player and a U2 fan for over 40 years I can’t imagine being asked to play on stage with them. I had the privilege of meeting the band back in 2002 in Dublin and that was the best day of my life. I can’t imagine being asked to play on stage with them. I would be in heaven. She was calm and collected and she nailed it. Way to go Stephanie!!!

❤ so sorry to hear about Cooper, I only heard about your channel last fall when Rob came over for the day with Dan and I. I binge watched most of your shows one weekend and fell in love with Coop, so well behaved in the canoe and around camp, he was a sweet dog. I have so many hunting, fishing and camping spots around Newfoundland that I have been with my dogs, and I am sitting around a fire thinking about all the good times remembering those great buddies all the while watching the new pup acting like a fool bouncing around everywhere. You gave that pup and awesome life and he gave you memories that will last forever, so sad that he was taken so early. I hope you find another pup to make new memories with, and keep the adventures coming.
