I've been losing confidence in how I might ever possibly figure out how to do the basics, but this video's simplicity really helped my motivation. Thank you. (You should consider changing to a fake name for security reasons)

Awesome tutorial Why the house are transparent how can i change the transparent look
@Franklinchinonso152 күн бұрын
Note that the whole scene is made from one grease pencil object.Everything in grease pencil works in layers if you look at my grease pencil layer menu the lines where on top of the fills that is why you could see the lines through the fills. I could have fixed this by having every house being its own grease pencil object. I hope this helps.

The No. 1 thing for art is to *enjoy the process.* The purpose of art is not the end result. When you are engaged with a project, you are engaged with the world. You are looking more carefully, thinking about your project as it relates to the world. You can't draw what you haven't seen. How does a tree *really* look? What is distinctive about a skyline that says "factory zone" vs "suburban housing"? What clothing are teenagers currently wearing? How is that different from the style choices an old veteran would make? You are an artist *all the time,* not only when you are pushing a pencil.
@Franklinchinonso152 күн бұрын
I’m kinda agree with you, but I’m always thinking as an artist you need to have something to show for it if you want to even be taken seriously in the community, maybe I’ll make a video about this in the future
@Franklinchinonso152 күн бұрын
But I agree completely about you being an artist all the time tho Thinking about how I would draw or model things I see in everyday life is my #1 pass time😂

Can you hook up the grease pencil objects to a particle system/weight paint to distribute it around the scene? Just curious
