Tarpon have extremely hard mouths. You’d know you need to set the hook if you ever caught one :/

I don’t have a problem with the hardness but like he just set the hook really weird like to the side at a weird angle but idrk much about setting the hook when it comes to other fish besides freshwater

So do you do a straight retrieve or twitch it? I love y’all’s baits btw I’ve been crushing the snook on the 5 inch mullet run and hooked into a giant tarpon with it too. Keep making the best baits out there🤙🏼
