I love Oh Christmas Tree by Bonnie Sullivan! I have done it and it looks great with the Valdani threads. One color projects can be swo peaceful, but rewarding when the design really shines through.

I am just like you in that I adore sending out Christmas cards and I do it every year even though people don't reciprocate like they used to. Unfortunately Canada Post went on strike this year and I wasn't able to send even one card. And yes it is sad that things have changed so much and I guess the stores don't stock as many cards because they don't sell as many. People must either be sending E cards or nothing at all. As for cost I always wait til after the holidays then buy my next year's cards on sale. Merry Christmas to you and may 2025 bring you good health and happiness.

I remember when the next generation decided they looked too cheap to decorate with and they were at every garage sale for a few dollars a piece 😂. I bought that exact tiny blowmold Santa at a GS in the early 90’s for 25 cents! Do you think that shot glass turn-style display stand that you liked was originally sold as a K-Cup Holder? 🦋 Hi Cindy, we were very sorry to hear about what happened to your mother and your son. Mother Nature is a powerful phenomenon that’s for sure. It was good to sit down and spend some time with you as you went through your pieces and shared your thoughts about them. I have written on the back of some of my favourite pieces to whom they are to be given after I shuffle off this mortal coil. For my other works I figure they will end up where they are meant to go ~ since we have no grandchildren ~ that thought gives me peace. Look after yourself and All the Best to you💕 and your family. Hi Cindy loved seeing your finishes they are beautiful and also your WIP's. I loved your framed pieces they are stunning. You do such beautiful stitching in your projects. I have been doing 3 months to a finish with Dena Half cross stitch and I selected 6 projects to try to complete in the months of (October, November, December timeframe). I have finished 2 out of six and almost finishing the third one and really enjoying doing them. I will be doing 25 new starts for 2025 and also some gifts as well. I always love going through my stash and picking out what projects I want to stitch (of course I want to stitch everything). I will be going to my LNS sometime in a couple of weeks called Stitchery X-Press (only five minutes from my home and Shepards bush is only 21 minutes from my home) and will be looking at material and other patterns. I am glad you Mom and Son are safe and I will say a prayer for them as well as for you. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat
