6:06 every time I see a ball drop history, I end up seeing my find It's a pleasure changing the community, i've been retired from Ball Drop content since 2022, but I may end up returning on my other channel. Thanks for showing my find! Yes, I am actually the one who found the drop :)

I wish I could take some of those years off and relive those glorious memories I had

So many glorious memories. The sad part is listening to how Dick Clark deteriorated because he got sick. I won't forget that as I knew nothing last forever

When this started in 1949, My sister was 2 years old and my oldest brother who served/survived in Vietnam as a Marine Sgt was only 4. This whole thing covered the lifespan of all my family except Mom and Dad who were born in the late 1920's. They would be close to 100. I lost my sister born in 1947 this year a few weeks ago . RIP to all those who were there in 1949 as adults in their 20's. Chances are most of them are gone now. This tells me to enjoy every second we have. Life is fleeting

We went in expecting the best in 2020…and we all got robbed of those expectations!

fun fact: 1965 was the first ever year to have the beep sound when it hit 1966. this also happened in 1971, 1972, and lastly 1973.
