My favorite birdcall. Reminds me of a gentle sunny day, playing out in nature as a child, with the black birds singing in the reeds.

Haven't heard this since I was little and still loved in Brum. Reminds me of my grandparents, of playing alone in the quiet during the cold evenings of summer. It's a sad, comforting type of nostalgia within this noise. How times change

The reason why we don't hear the mourning dove anymore is because 20 million are shot for sports and meat each year. I miss the mourning dove 😞😭

If I saw one of these birds out my balcony I would put food on the balcony so he could come and I'll keep him in my house forever if he stays with that satisfying sound

I would take the bird calls for granted but now that have them i fell so bad. I recently move in with my grandma, were every morning i would walk outside and just sit, feel the breeze, and listen, but now i just walk outside and feel the breeze, i miss the birds so much.😔😔

Mourning Dove The summer light through curtains thin, The morning mist, oh, such a bliss. The TV sings its friendly tones, While family gathers in their zones. An early breakfast of cereal and honey, No worries of bills, no thoughts of money. The mourning dove’s ethereal chant Brought charm to life, a gentle grant. All the searching we did for owls, Just to find a pigeon nearby the prowls. Oh, such days they were, my friend, Now even the snow feels plain and dead.
