Too many crap platformers

Unless I missed them, nowhere on this list...UFO: Enemy Unknown, Moonstone, The Pawn, Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders, Ambermoon, The Guild of Thieves, Star Control, Any of the Bard's Tale games, Colonel's Bequest, It Came from the Desert, Street Rod, Realms of Arkania, Conquest of the Longbow, Midwinter 2, any Space Quest, Chaos Strikes Back, Darkmere, Lords of the Realm, Lords of the Rising Sun, Maniac Mansion, Might & Magic II or III, Oil Imperium, Millennium 2.2, or Reunion...BUT, don't worry, cause it's got Pong, every middle of the road platformer you can shake a stick at, and every remotely passable arcade port Amiga Power could get their console-envying hands on.

It's not subjective, it's Cannon Fodder ; )

If Turrican is the 271st best game on the Amiga then I'm a monkey's uncle. Lemmings at 126 is just wild. 🤯

Good list! i think that are some games very important that has to be in the list in the top 100: - Agony - Barbarian - Rastan - The lost vikings - Lionheart - The settlers - UFO: Enemy Unknown (a must!) - Wings - Speedball 2 - Syndicate ( a classic!) - Simon the Sorcerer - Moonstone - Mega lo Mania - Beneath A Steel Sky (a classic!) And one special mention to: - They came from the desert What a time, the time of amiga 500... I was very happy, with so little :-)

I didn’t like Amiga power that much. They felt………….well………sponsored. I stuck hard with The One and also Amiga action. To many excellent games missing from this list. I blame Amiga power.

Amiga Power people were out of their minds. "Honorable" mentions, most should be towards the top of the main list!

I tried some of the games tonight - hell are those games hard o.O I tried stunt car racer - lost everytime so far ^^ Was brutally trashed in Street Fighter II, destroyed in Battle Squadron ... I know that I suck at soccer games - and logically I was crushed in SWOS and Speedball II xD But I love that the games are just essentially games - you start them, start playing, learning - no annoying "Rewards", "Tutorials" and "Trophies" every 10 seconds. Will continue tomorrow :)

Missing quite a lot of gamed thst I used to play, not to metion the listing, but interesting video for games i never played or even never heard off

Pretty solid, yet random-order list. Moonstone and UFO: Enemy Unknown, that are the most obvious ones missing (and appearing in most other top100), plus those being Honorable Mentions = CRAZY :D

Chaos Engine....Cannon Fodder....Desert strike....Most definitely....Superfrog...& while not unique to the Amiga...The Sentinel. We all could go on. But where did our youth go??

Cool list. Plenty of games better with Atari ST though. Pure polygonal bliss with Atari. And the top one was created with ST's colour palette in mind. Like all the other Bitmap's classics.

There was a dispute between Amiga Power and Team 17, so that's why they didn't review well some of their games.

Imagine coming across an Amiga All Time Top 300 list and you haven't even heard of probably half of it while also half of the games you had and loved are just blatantly missing... (too lazy to list them all, others have mentioned most of them in the comments, probably) That just proves there's been so many great games, what a time in gaming!

Wings at number 232 ?!? Easily one of the best top 10 games.

It’s got to be The Secret Of Monkey Island for me. Memories of that game are as good as anything since. Happy to see Speedball II at the top spot. That game was addictive and drove every competitive instinct. The Amiga was a ground-breaking platform. Amiga Power added another dimension to it.

Cannon Fodder and Sensi Soccer were my top games on the Amiga. I was surprised how low down Fodder was 🤔

The best magazine was german Power Play! They actually did know what they were talking about!

R.V.F. Honda, Shufflepuck Cafe, Menace, BLOODMONEY!, X-Out, Agony, Giana Sisters, Z-Out and Xenon 2 Megablast are missing. :( Lotus III and Stryx too.

Indianapolis 500 should be driven with a mouse and the grphics options should be set at low, if you are playing on an ECS or OCS Amiga, because framerate is key for car control.
