I too have been getting calls from diwali onwards, in Kolkata where only couple must come to receive their gifts, it could be anyone, like juicer, coffee mug set, or a dinner set, then free two movie tickets from Inox, and a 3 nights 4 days free hotel stay out of their 64 locations. They called me a number of times, but my husband refused to go with me. He told me it was fraud, but I didn't believe him rather insisted him but then thought of watching youtube if any scam is being done by them or not. Thankfully, now I dropped the idea.
