Two weeks after 9/11 I flew from Pittsburg to SNA. There were more crew members on board than passengers.

The length of interstate 405 happens to be 73 miles from the interstate 5/405 interchange in Irvine to the interstate 5/405 interchange in San Fernando. Was interstate 405 ever planned to continue San Diego since the signage on interstate 405 reads San Diego despite this freeway ending in Irvine.

I’ve been on interstate 710 to Long Beach California and despite heavy truck traffic the interstate 710/105 freeway interchange is impressive with the long flyover ramps connecting interstate 710 and 105. I read on google about possibly reconfiguring the California state route 91/interstate 710 interchange but I doubt the 710/91 interchange will have flyover ramps connecting both freeways in all directions like the current interstate 710/105 interchange in paramount.

That portion of the freeway gets very busy at rush hour because it is subterranean once it gets into long beach, then I elevates 16 gets passed the Long Beach airport. Because of its design it's very difficult expand that portion of the 405 freeway to allow better traffic flow. Unfortunately they didn't really think about the massive population coming to southern California in the 50s or 60s.

I know this is very late, but it depends on your situation. SNA is extremely convenient for the central/south Orange County area, but that convenience comes at a price. On the other hand, just getting in and out of LAX can be a pain in the butt.

Interstate 15 needs to be widen to three lanes north and south in between interstate 40 and Yates well road since congestion is common on interstate 15 south. It would also be nice if California state route 247 was a freeway connecting Barstow and Lucerne valley instead of the single lane road it ended up being today.

The 210 freeway in upland doesn’t have an exit ramp at San Antonio avenue in upland but I’ve been wondering why there isn’t a 210/San Antonio avenue interchange. I think it’s because the mountain avenue interchange is too close to San Antonio avenue that there’s no 210/ San Antonio avenue interchange.

I was on California state route 210 yesterday traveling to upland and I exited the 210 freeway on mountain avenue before parking to walk up San Antonio avenue. I would like it if there was a 210/San Antonio avenue interchange so you won’t have to exit campus avenue. Why isn’t there a 210/ San Antonio avenue interchange. Is San Antonio avenue to close to mountain for there to be a second interchange.

I’ve been on interstate 15 and saw an exit sign that said minneola road in yermo California. I’ve never been on minneola road but why isn’t there an interchange with minneola road on interstate 40. Minneola road ends at National trails highway 1 mile north of i-40. I would like if minneola road connected both interstate 15 and 40.

I don't recall all the orange cones and constructions near the end near Port Clinton. We didn't encounter this in either 2019 or 2022. Must be a 2023 thing. Would be typical, since 2023 has been such a crappy, insipid year.

You mentioned you didn't have meal or menu choices. We're going to Hawaii this year and were told that a week in advance we're supposed to use the Delta app to choose menu selections and Delta will send an email as a reminder to do so.

This is an older trip report; this flight was taken before Delta introduced their pre-select meal choices in first class. Unless your flight is operated by an A321neo, Delta should send you an email before your flight with meal choices.

There wasn’t any severe turbulence on this flight, but whether or not there’s turbulence varies on a day-by-day basis. You’ll be fine, as long as the flight attendants remain calm, you have no reason to panic.
