I'm so glad you are addressing cat calling and harassment towards women. I was a teenager in the 90s and have suffered a lot from the toxic behavior of men. I'm dealing with the PTSD, physical, and mental damage in my forties through therapy and somatic experience. Let's keep on having these healing conversations and call out the culprits.❤

Great content as always! But could you post quicker? I really look forward to your take on every episode...Today’s issue is so important-please also highlight that there are male survivors too, though I know many survivors are women and girls.

cat calling got so used to that they think that they can upgrade that since most of them think that its normal now "they" start so say something that disturbs you sexual statements that get on your nerve and not just one man in a day but you will hear these the moment your leg steps out side until you got back home. some girls who can not let these things slide who are not mentally strong will start to believe in these statement most of them being body shaming and somethings a girl mind can't even handle. we are in a situation where we can't walk" UNLESS WE HAD OUR EARPHONS AND HEAD DOWN ".

Hey guys, really nice time i just had listening to you, and perfect topic. i just want to say i was also one of the guys that don't know how often and the extent of the harassment that is happening until i had someone who i cared about and got a chance to see what she goes through on a daily basis. so I'm sure there are a lot of guys and people out there who don't understand what's going on. keep up the good work!!!

I think GBV is one context where 'mind your business' doesn't/shouldn't apply. Mind other women's businesses if you see them being harassed. Keep safe ladies!

I’m really glad you guys tackled a topic that affects everyone but often gets brushed under the rug! It was such a great episode💯, and I’m sure many people can relate to the experiences shared. It was also super educational! I hope our generation can be more open about gender issues and work together to stand up against violence, instead of treating it like a taboo topic like previous generations did. You were amazing as always, and congrats on almost 10k subscribers🧡🧡🧡

Spreading the word about one stop centers in Addis (we have posted locations in the description of our video), reposting social media content from Setaset and Setaweet and encouraging others to donate are great places to start!

Listen for so long i carried the weight of my silence..it wasn't just the assaults that broke me it was the feeling that my voice my truth had been stolen from me..every time i tried to speak my strength betrayed me I'd choke on fear, disbelief, and shame..and did it matter I'm only 16?? Nah it didn't not to my community. Not to my stalker for sure.. But today i felt like my voice came back..not a whisper but a scream not out of fear but a release IT IS NOT OKAY..the fact that what is happening to me what is happening to us was too inconvenient for anyone to truly see and i appreciate you guys addressing that🙏

If it okay, can yall do an episode on mental health, it would be nice to see yall discuss how mental health is usually a taboo subject in Ethiopian house holds. If its possible, having en expert in that field who is well versed in the Ethiopian culture might help us understand more. Im a big fan btw, great to have yall back.
