Back in the day when they just packaged 2 random boosters together w a "promo" card I went into my local Meijer and found about 15 packs w Dryad Arbor (future sight) clearly visible as the "promo card". Needless to say for $7 a blister I went ahead and bought them out. Pulled a foil Ugin (Fate) as well. I think I still have about half a dozen of them unopened. They also contain boosters going as far back as Scars and New Phyrexia. Not sure id call these kinds of products scams but they are quite the gamble as they are made from unsold fat packs and blisters. Hence the spin down counter.

I've pulled promo cards from these packs, and signed cards. Although this was years ago now. They are a really good cheap way to buy bulk. There also used to be $4 100 card packs with 2 rares.

Ive been buying these packs from Dollarama for a few years, always horrible cards but I find it fun. Way back before the pandemic you could occasionally get a revised cards and older sets. Got a Flying Carpet once. I remember a hockey arena I went to that had a 25 cent vending machine for magic cards way back in the late 90's.

I think this would be cool to do against your friends. Each buy 5 packs or so, and open the cards and create the best deck to play against each other. For players that are getting started and you can learn the cards play better cheers

Back in university, we routinely did "hobo drafts" with these packs. Highlights include: 15-Thrum (someone took all the Thrummingbirds), The Unbeatable Chancellor (Chancellor of the Tangle just won because there was no removal), and Oops All Unsummons.

I have been buying them for a few years now. I would sometimes get a few cars that I could put in a cube or a few of my decks.

My biggest worry from a Dollar Store pack would be "Are they even real?" But that aside, that's a pretty neat way to get cards. I just got a 50 card random pack of Yugioh cards today for $7. One of them was a Limited Edition Rainbow Dragon which several places sell for $5. Pretty good going, I'd say.

Yes the color of the kisluxbag is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

I suspect that the writing has something to do with a FLGS running some kind of special event. The "Free chips or cookies" is probably a prize you get if you pull that card in a repacked draft of some kind. The other writing looks like different people with different pens wrote the letters, so maybe initials. Maybe some kind of special extra rules where you need to put your initials on a card you play and at the end some sort of score or points are awarded based on which ones you have in your deck at the end.

I buy dollar store packs all the time and get decent pulls. I now have 3 more Bone Shards than before which was 0.
