As a teenager in the Seventies I loved Airfix. The 1/32 series was awesome. IMO the Japanese were the best set of all.

I always feel like cutting of the pre set bases and putting on a warhammer 40k base so they look different. Utter snobbery as they are very good models.

Oh my god i had those as a kid, someone gave me loads of toy soldiers back in the 70s. Loved playing with them.

I'm 60, I remember all the airfix army sets. 1/76 scale. Loved the German parra posses. Can't believe I gave them all up when I got married. I left all my models of airfix plane's. All my Waterloo airfix sets. What was I thinking. Into bolt action at the moment but I wish the airfix had moved on with the models. Ie. Same figger s but 25mm and hard resin. My painted airfix models had a flore. There gun ends kept flaking due to been soft plastic. Still the best figgers and posers ever. Scale was perfect. No strange looking fingers as in bolt action and the vehicles were the correct scale as well. Thank you for the blast from the past. Good memories.

I recently picked up this out of curiosity. I think I prefer the Airborne set, however.

Just a tip for focussing the camera on a detailed view like the officer and his pistol. When you lift the object towards the camera, put your free hand behind it so the camera loses the focal length on the original figures. You will then see the closer figure come into sharper focus. Just saying.

I am docked and on an ethernet connection, I still have this problem; it is not a wi-fi issue. I can use other applications in desktop mode that require internet. I also just did a connection test - flying colors. Steam client itself keeps saying "No Connection" though

I wish I could actually finish this game, but on both playthrough attempts I got stuck at a game-breaking bug after ejecting the warp cores where I climbed up the escape ladder and then it just got stuck, warped me back into engineering, music kept playing, couldn't move my character anymore, but could still back out to the menu. It was so disappointing, because otherwise I loved it. The icing on the cake was trying to file a bug report and discovering that their website was broken and it couldn't be submitted, and the support forums just redirect back to the steam forum where a handful of people have experienced the same bug bug couldn't fix it...Paramount can choke on a....
