This video depicts perfectly what FEMINISM internally does to women. As it should, since its the creation of satan. You cant be a FEMINIST and a Christian at the same time.

I used to listen to you on spotify, then was disappointed when many of the songs evaporated and I couldn't hear them anymore. I'll look out for an album I can buy properly.

Beautifully sung. Gorgeous vocals and harmonies. I think Natalie Merchant put the music to the words 🎶🎶
What soulful and beautiful voices. It makes one believe that heaven is a lot closer than we know.

When all beside a vigil keep the West's asleep, the West's asleep alsas and well may Erin weep when Connacht lies in slumber deep there lake and plain smile fair and free mid rocks their guardian chivalry sing oh let man learn liberty from crashing winds and dashing sea That chainess wave and lovely land Freedom and Nationhood demand be sure the great God never planned for slumbering slaves a home so grand and long a brave and haughty race honored and sentinelled the place Sing Oh, not even their son's disgrace can quite destroy their glory's trace For often in O'Connor's van to triumph dashed each Connacht clan and fleet as deer the Normans ran through Corrsliabh Pass and Ardrahan and later times saw deeds as brave and glory guards Clanricard's grave Sing Oh they died their land to save at Aughrim's slopes and Shannon's waves And if, when all a vigil keep The West's asleep! The West's asleep! Alas! And well may Erin weep That Connacht lies in slumber deep But, hark! A voice like thunder spake The West's awake! The West's awake! Sing, Oh! Hurrah! Let England quake! We'll watch till death for Ireland's sake

Phil Cunningham's tv series 'Wayfaring Stranger' tells, in great detail , about the origins of this song - Scottish/Irish, which became a hymn when it travelled to America. Thought to be one of the earliest and most-travelled songs from the 'old countries'.

This song is utterly depressing to a lady who never married or had children, and is too old to adopt.
@bobbybannerjee5156 Жыл бұрын
Why are those things so important to ladies? They are not to us men.
@Ariel-T-Friesner Жыл бұрын
@@bobbybannerjee5156 If having a wife and children weren't important to men, they wouldn't murder their wives and children after the wives leave with the children.
@tsovloj651010 ай бұрын
@@bobbybannerjee5156 I think it's mostly cultural. We're brought up with expectations and hangups about women doing the childrearing and I think this is one of the places it shows. I think you could replace the adoption in this song with any other major project and a lot of the sense would be the same, though. I mean, I feel like it speaks to me as a 35 y.o. single man, even though I have no plans to parent specifically. There's this question of, well, what else can I do with my life, then, if I'm not going to have the white picket fence and all that?
