Great content, as always! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (mistake turkey blossom warfare blade until bachelor fall squeeze today flee guitar). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?

We rely on you guys. I truly support the efforts of the MTavalanche boys, but this sort of report is virtually useless to an avid backcountry person. Give us data. Let us make the decisions.

Tom, I'm sorry this video wasn't helpful to you. I hope it might have been helpful to someone newer to learning about avalanches and traveling in the backcountry. We always share the data from our field days (pit profiles, test scores, etc) on our website (www.mtavalanche.com/snow-observations-list). Let us know if there is something else you'd hope to see. -Ian

When i was about 6 years old i got myself caught in a mini avalanche after a massive snow storm. Behind my house was a very steep hill/mini mountain, prob a few hundred feet high. Well i wanted to sled down it. I got almost to the very top after pulling myself all the way up by grabbing tree after tree. I tripped over a down tree an when i fell i triggered an avalanche. Next thing i know im on the way down the hill. By the time i got to the bottom i was buried all the way up to my chest an could barely move. I was VERY lucky that a neighbor was outside snow blowing his driveway an seen it all happen!!

What’s the reasoning behind the weaker snow base over these last couple of years?
@MTavalanche21 күн бұрын
Weak snow forms when a thin, early-season snowpack sits around in the cold air (i.e., November, December). Unfortunately, this is a regular occurrence in southwest Montana and eastern Idaho. The antidote to a weak snowpack is more snow and a deep snowpack. In some seasons, it's a little better, and in some, a little worse, but we almost always deal with weak layers at some point during the season. Check out this video we recently published for a more thorough explanation of how these weak layers form in our snowpack. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYCXoX95h9aAedk
