Good video sir. Especially since I am terrible at endgames, your videos certainly help alot!

what about Ke3
@nobleronechess5 күн бұрын
vs 1. Ke3 black can play Kd5 with idea to support e5 again, getting rid of his backwards pawn and create that passed f-pawn.

You can make stalemate by moving knight in one of the kings squares, king is forced to take if he doesn’t want to let you to promote

That’s what I’m saying😂 it shouldn’t be a draw after king takes knight
@haydendodson587620 күн бұрын
Except it is, guess the king has to be in front of the pawn for opposition to work here. Just ran the position through an engine

What if pawn takes instead of the king moving?

the queen was never on the 1 row, so the pawn never had a chance to take.

check on c6 makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Pawn can take queen and proceed with king backing him up. Black wins by points on the board at least. The analasys-tool says the same.

Cant white move his king down towards the rook starting with a5?
@nobleronechessАй бұрын
If white king gets close to rook, you can move it on a-file. Just need to have distance to check white king off their a-pawn if they ever protect it. Rook has 6 squares to move between, and white king can only cover 3 at the time.

Can you make a short course to teach children (strategic) chess (not just the basic rules)? You can sell it to parents that want to teach their children chess.

ofcourse draw, rook versus rook endgame, depends on how good the players are and the time on the clock
