Bet this ex Victoria and Northern line 1967 and 1972mk1 4 car units, have since had their components recovered before they were officially scrapped. They were too badly damaged and incapacitated to ever return to service and not even worth restoring them back.

I saw this in summer 1977 when I was 6. I remember Elvis died same holiday. I also remember them turning out the lights and all the trains had lights - wow! I'm looking at the 1977 entry ticket/colour leaflet now. - shows that same bridge.

It's pretty shame that all of the Asset Inspection Train got scrapped. Asset Inspection Train is no more sadly. Love from 🇺🇸 🇬🇧

It had its components recovered before it was scrapped. Also the 4 car unit at Aldwych was also component recovered and scrapped. I recently saw it at Ruislip depot, just the skeleton body left all the components have been removed from it.
