I am familiar with moringa leaves in adai, but have not come across onion in it. Especially not when there is asafoetida in the batter as well. We add karabevu and crushed pepper corns just before spreading the adai batter on the pan

I made it for the second time in California for my son and daughter in law and they simply loved it. It is the best recipie for kadalai curry ever.
