Yes do all that, PLUS! Before contact, with your last two steps, you dip low with your knees (staggered feet with net-facing foot forward) Take these last two steps slowly/measured, extend starting with your legs and finish with your arms extended as he shows you here. This has helped my beach setting so very much! Thanks for the great video on touch here! My goal this summer is to get my hand setting as good as when I was younger and playing indoors. I’m off to a good start and I might be even BETTER than ever! 🤞 😊

It's December 2023 and once again I'm having to face the daunting task of which health care plan to choose, and each year it gets more and more expensive and confusing. Thank you so much for explaining this clearly and simplifying my decision making process. Co-pay is indeed the best way to go!

Keaton Marks is quickly becoming an icon in the health insurance field. Have also heard some remarks that he is a thought to be a "cute guy," but I cannot comment on this.

So which part of finger and how many finger mainly do you use for volleyball setting
@GimmieCookie6 ай бұрын
Your “fingerprints” or pads (never tips) should be on the ball, and as he mentions, it’s mainly your thumbs and pointer fingers that do the heavy lifting. The other fingers are for control. Most of the time your last two fingers won’t even contact the ball, but they can. Also! Pointers and thumbs point at each other in a triangle shape “window”

I like it! I'm planning on making a video where I'll time myself pulling from the step close position (one leg already back) vs the "normal feet parallel to the net position", just to get some more data on which one actually might be better. But now I'll have to add a straight back pull as well because you made me curious haha, I just have never considered it seriously. I feel like this can depend a lot on sand depth though, deeper sand will make all the steps needed for the straight back pull less efficient!

Just curious: Do you teach them also to swing their arms forwards on the 3rd to last step (left foot) in the approach? I am assuming from the title that it's a video where you are working on approach armswing? :)
@keatonmarks10366 жыл бұрын
They had never played with one another so we decided to practice hitting each others sets. I only coach a arm swings on the last launch step. Arms should move like a pendulum gaining speed, from front to back to front again on the launch. But yes, the arms should swing into a starting, forward position.
