Watching you try to put nuts in pods that would barely take a totem is pretty funny ngl, but you lived!

ok lots of stuff to work on here.... 1) no need for lockers on the ends of the quad, lockers are for critical links (belay device, your clove, anchoring a partner) the ends of the quad are redundant. 2) that quad is double the length it needs to be, 3) leave the PAS at home. when you get to your anchor (or if you build one. anchor yourself with THE ROPE via CLOVE HITCH .It's dynamic and you already have it and your already tied into it . if you are going to belay from above with w grigri it needs to be oriented correctly. your gonna have a hell of time putting in the required re-direct and to lower of give your partner some slack- learn to use a ATC in guide -mode
@merklyyyy17 күн бұрын
@@rgr195 I appreciate the feedback! This was a last minute decision on our trip, and I left the ATC guide at home, hence the grigri, which yeah, not great the way it was oriented. I'm also definitely a clove hitcher now, but figured I'd use the PAS since I had it.

What do you hate at the end?

@@ronaldeberle5169 the anchor is really horizontally far from where the climb was, so retrieving my quickdraws basically required me to do a rope assisted downclimb of the whole route. Although now that I'm thinking about it, I probably could've clipped myself to the rope on the way down to keep me near the bolts
