I think many of the African American women leave Islam is out of ignorance of the religion. I say this because I see to many black women fall for these brothers who themselves don’t really practice Islam. How can we expect the sisters to come to Islam when the brother who claims to be Muslim is not really practicing Islam himself. I think the blame for many of these sisters falling away has to placed on the brothers.

Wonderful clarification. I have an unrelated question. I am aware that we are to obey our ruler, even if we live in a kafir country. So what, other than their own decency, is to stop a muslim ruler form devastating the ummah? If he has us beaten, takes our posessions and causes starvation, injustice and poverty, what can his people do to stop it? Assalamu aleykum wa rahmatullah.

When I am saying the Unseen, I am speaking in reference to matters on earth that have happened that no one know and are hidden. In sha Allah all of that will be revealed on the day of Judgment. Be cause Allah says everything is written in our book and everything will be revealed.
